We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data and voice communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to configure, deploy, maintain and monitor all active network system equipment in order to ensure smooth and reliable operation and will work closely with the Director of IT Infrastructure and IT technical staff to support and matain the IT infrastructure of a rapidly growing organization. This position requires a technically savvy hands-on person with creative vision, proven skills and the drive to succeed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the corporate network including servers and workstations.
  • Manage corporate active directory environments.
  • Manage server policies and login scripts.
  • Monitoring the servers for hardware/software performance issues.
  • Plan and coordinate upgrades patches and new corporate technologies.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software.
  • Configure, Monitor and maintain daily and weekly backups.
  • Install and maintain Multifunction printers
  • Serve as in-house Microsoft software resource for Microsoft operating systems and applications including, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Install and configure software, hardware and networks
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
  • Manage VOIP phone system
  • Troubleshoot desktop issues and network/server/VOIP outages
  • Create and update technical documentation and manuals
  • As part of a team, provide 24/7 escalation support for the company's IT infrastructure

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • On-prem Active directory design and management skills, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS
  • Azure Active directory and Azure Services experience
  • Experience with setting up Microsoft based systems, support mechanisms, and architectures
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting and/or VB scripting
  • Proficient with Hyper-V and virtualized environments
  • Experience with performance monitoring and server tuning for security and performance
  • Significant experience with server hardware, redundant setup, RAID technologies, etc.
  • Server support skills for Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 with 2019 a plus
  • Solid network analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Printer management and troubleshooting skills
  • Microsoft 365/Exchange Server management
  • AWS Cloud Migration experience
  • Fully Hosted Cloud Solutions Experience
  • SaaS, HaaS, IaaS
  • ITIL Methodology
  • Fortinet Network Hardware
  • IBM AS400
  • Online Helpdesk Ticketing System
  • Familiarity with SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with network and endpoint monitoring software
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery tools
  • File server maintenance and management of shares and quotas
  • Desktop deployment and support skills for Windows 7 and Windows 10 Pro
  • Proven experience working with enterprise grade phone/VOIP systems with call-center functionality and communication with carriers
  • Proficiency with Call Flows, VOIP and e-Fax troubleshooting, migration from one system to another
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Relevant certifications such as Network+, Security+, Server+, would be great, but not a requirement
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Certifications are a plus

This is a full-time role that requires on-site presence. No remote working. Travel to other offices (up to 5%) as needed may be required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship. Local candidates only.
